higher is better - tho if the 5300 is from a known brand and the 6000 is from an obscure company from China, and the price is similar, then I'd take the named brand as it will likely have a warranty and will keep taking the same charge. On the other hand altho some of my Tenergy branded cells don't seem to carry quite the same charge as they used to, for the price I'm not going to complain
