Teamspeak setup instructions

IP address will be emailed to membership and guests

Instructions/Setup:

Go to http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
install Teamspeak 2 Client (which is the first download) Do Not download the Updated Excutable

Setup - after install

Go to settings
then Sound Input/Output settings
select Voice Send Method
select Push To talk
choose any key (ie L-Ctrl) then Set

You can also adjust sound etc.

To Launch

Go to Connection
then select Quick Connect
Put in the following:
Server address: (will be emailed to members/guest) xxx.xxx.xx.xxx
Nickname: use a name that we can recognize (this is what the users will see)
Login name: leave blank
Password: use what ever you want it to be

Behind a Firewall or use a Router

If you are behind a firewall or use a router make sure you have forwarding on port 8767-8767 with the UDP protocol box checked

Windows firewall exception

Go to control panel then search for firewall
add the program teamspeak to exceptions tab
then add port:
name: teamspeak
port number: 8767
protocol: UDP
